		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t know where you are, or who told you not to apply, but being an adjunct is not a bar in and of itself.  As a matter I fact, if they offer you significantly less work in a semester than in the preceding semester, (if they slash your hours), you could very well be eligible.  If they let you go completely, you need to apply immediately.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I have taught at a proprietory college for several terms but d/t budget restrictions my &#039;lead instructor&#039; is being ordered to take over my teaching duties and I need to file for unemployment but was told I was not able to do so d/t to being an adjunce instructor...even though I worked over 490 hours/wk in the previous quarter.  Any information you could share would be of help.]]></description>
